# Video quality (/docs/help/video-quality)

## The four levels

- **Lite** — For trying an idea or testing a script. Costs the least.
  - **Standard** — For everyday posts, delivered fast. Better motion and detail than Lite.
  - **Pro (default)** — For videos you publish for a brand or client. Finer motion and detail than Standard.
  - **Max** — For ads, launches and hero videos. Everything in Pro, in higher resolution (1080p).

Each level up looks better and uses more credits. At every level:

- The video comes with voice, sound and music.
- People, products and places keep the same look from shot to shot.
- Characters and avatars can speak on camera, lip-synced to their lines, and singers lip-sync in music videos.

Changing the level keeps your script, voices and length.

## How many credits it uses

Each level uses more credits than the one below it. The exact amount depends on your video — how long it is and what’s in it — so the total varies. Each level's per-second rate is on [reela.com/pricing](https://reela.com/pricing).

- **Chat mode**: Reela shows the credits before you confirm. The video is charged only after you do.
- **Auto mode**: Reela starts right away at the level you picked.

## Change the level

*Interface: The mode menu with Video quality: Lite, Standard, Pro (selected), Max*

Open the mode menu next to the send button and pick a level under **Video quality**. It applies in both Chat and Auto mode. In Chat mode you can also just ask, for example "make it in Max", and the menu updates to match.
